I am now a married man.

So a lot has happened in the past weeks, I went and got married. I have found that I only post when something exciting has happened. So that is it. I shall post some pictures once I get them from my Photographer. I also have something else awesome that a co-worker of mine has informed me of. A Self-sustaining Ecosystem. Take a big pickles jar, 2 plants, 2 small fish, couple snails. and BAM! seal it up and keep it near a window. You never have to open it, never have to feed the fish, nothing! check it out I found this site.

SELFSUSTAINING ECOSYSTEM

I am very excited to start this. It also wont cost very much to do! The best part? After you create it, you never have to do anything with it again!

Look at her little foot...

Just look at it. aww its so footie.

1...2...3...4...5...6?

La pièce de résistance

She is yawning! Amniotic fluid? odd. It kinda reminds me of the movie The Abyss, this guy goes into a 2 mile deep hole in the ocean and his suit is filled with this pink fluid which he has to inhale. So the baby breathing reminds me of that. What a wierd feeling it must be.

One more try...

Okay, I think the video problem was that the file size was 5times the limit... so i have re-movied it to 25Mb so it should work.

Alrighty, Chantal went ahead and made an appointment to get yet another 3D/4D Ultrasound done this Friday at 1 o'clock. The image in the baby mama posting is at 21weeks so this one will be at 30. It's going to be really neat to see how much two and a half months can changing a growing fetus. (heh heh 'fetus') Where as an adult you can't even tell! And the best part of it all is that we get 20% off since we had it done during this pregnency!WOOT!

Stupendous.

Heres Da Vid!

So here's the video ladies and gents!

Wait I am having some difficulty, I'm gunna try again tomorrow when I have some more time.

I will admit it was kinda fun just doing a video. So I will post the odd picture but keep up with the videos since its more rocking. Hey, if anyone random views this and has a question, email me at nmglider@gmail.com.

UPDATE

I have added a picture of Chantal to the Baby and Baby Mama post. Its the 29 weeks photo!

Awesome.

TEARDROP PROGRESS!

So after lots of work, it is finally starting to look like a Teardrop trailer.

This first photo is some of the frames I am building called the BULKHEADS. They start to give the trailer some riggidity (sp?) and are the base for the insulation at the rear of the trailer.

This is one of the sides I had cut out, its starting to look like something real here! But I found it was very hard to jigsaw/cut the edges without a...

SAWHORSE! which was very easy to make! Plus: I used some old 2x4's from the reno we are doing onthe basement. Plus: Canadian Tire its 25$ for one, and all it took was 3 2x4's @ $1.50 a piece plus 16 screws=a lot less then the one at Canadian Tire!

Of course I run out of wood to continue with my frames.. So I must go buy more at HomeDepot, then I get home, and I have run out of screws, ARGH! back to HomeDepot. Oh and Homedepot doesn't sell Wood Screws in bulk so I have to buy them in packs of 100 (which seems like a lot but you go through them quickly!) So I just went all out and bought 200 8X2" wood screws (8 being thread count and 2 being length) 200 8x1 1/2" and 200 8x1"

I am all framed out, though it feels good to look at them all and say, 'Them some good frames'. I used BUTT joints to frame them,

And the door is cut! 'HELLO!'

Now the sides are up, and it really is starting to look like something! IMA SO EXCITED! :) :) :) :)! Those things in the middle are RIGHT ANGLE JIGS to square the sides to the floor, without them it would be all messed up and nothing would fit in snuggly, and the trailer would look more like a rhombus.(first time I've used that word since grade 10 math class).

This here is Hardboard, 1/8" thick. Much like panelling. I use this for the inside SKIN of the trailer. Also for the shelves, and such.

Here you can see that I have added the panelling to one of the BULKFRAMES this is the rear view

and here is the front view!

and this is me strangling my Dad for tryin to cut corners!

Here we are, I have installed the rest of the BulkFrames and am now putting the insulation in BEFORE I put up the face frames (which like it sounds is the front of the cabinet that faces you when you look at it!)
I just had a brilliant idea, Im gunna make a video tour of the trailer quick times so you can really have the full effect! I'll brb!

Long time coming!

It has been a while since my last post. Forgive me. I really only want to post when I have something cool to show everyone, or well anyone that reads thing. There was this HUGE. storm that hit Durham, and I got a picture of the KABOOMS!

Its kinda outta focus, but its tricky to take pictures of lightning. Also an update on the lady, she is looking more preggers everyday. Heres one of the belly taken just a week ago.

I have also done lots more on the teardrop. I have a handfull of more pictures so I will have to take some time and organize it all so I can post them.

HaHaHa Chantal really is hating on this picture, so I am going to leave it up. My dad said she looks like Kate from John & Kate plus 8. Muah hahahaha I think she looks might peerrtyy.

Baby and Baby Mama

I know I posted the Teardrop project first, but I wanted this at the top! And I know Chantal is going to kill me for posting these, oh well!

This is 5 weeks along, basically when we found out!

This is 15 weeks along, slowly but surely!

This is 25 weeks along, look at that belly grow!

Now we have a 21 weeks along picture but Chantal HATES it so for the sake of my own life I wont be posting it. lol I do have the ultrasound of 11 weeks 3 days so here it is!

This is at 29 Weeks!

So in this 11 weeks 3 days Claire is only 4 centemeters long! Whoa!

And this is one of those high-tech 3D/4D ultrasounds, though my understanding of the 4th demention is that it is impossible for us to humanly understand a 4th dementional being, since 'we' are living in the reality of the 3rd demention. But thats a whole other blog post!

Here Claire is covering her face! Can you see everything? You can see her arm, mouth, one eye and a bit of nose!

As Chantal's belly grows and we get updates you'll get updated posts. I know I have an new regualr ultrasound too, so I am going to look for it and get it up here!
